ideal base for exploring pattaya's vibrant attractions
my stay included a spacious room facing the swimming pool and it was only a short walk to the beach and the lively Walking Street, making it easy to explore the bustling city life while enjoying some relaxation time after my adventures.

The spacious pool area was my favorite part.
The check-in process was a nightmare. I arrived late and had to deal with rude staff who didn't seem to care about my frustrations. The air conditioning in the lobby was non-existent, making the whole place feel oppressive and uncomfortable. the lack of safety boxes in the room added to my anxiety throughout the stay.

Dined at Zaika Indian Restaurant just a stone's throw away, indulging in some serious spicy curries—absolute flavor explosions! The well-kept pool area was a blissful retreat after a day out and about.
The hotel swapped the central AC for a noisy air heat pump that works, albeit louder than before. Plus, no safety box in the room was a bit dodge, but at least there was one at reception.

A pleasant surprise by the pool
The Royal Palace Hotel offered a delightful stay. The staff's warmth and attentiveness made my visit memorable, and the pool area was a peaceful escape after exploring. I was thrilled with my clean, spacious room overlooking the beautiful pool. The hot water and pressure in the bathroom were consistently excellent, which was appreciated after long days.
I faced a few inconveniences during my stay. The breakfast variety was limited, with the same offerings each day. the lack of in-room safety boxes felt a bit off. while these issues affected the experience, they did not overshadow the positives.

The pool area is expansive and well-maintained, perfect for lounging after a long day. The large swimming pool offers a refreshing retreat and the free Wi-Fi works seamlessly, ensuring you can stay connected while enjoying your downtime.
Rooms lack in-room safety boxes, which can be a hassle, but the ones at reception do the trick. The air conditioning has been swapped out for a noisier heat pump, creating a bit of racket, and the breakfast atmosphere isn't exactly energetic, making it feel a bit stale. there's a peculiar policy charging 300 Baht for any guests visiting the room, which seems a bit off for a place looking to cater to social interactions.

I enjoyed my week-long stay as a solo traveler, exploring local attractions like Walking Street and Mike Shopping Mall. The large, clean room was quite comfortable, and the pool area was a lovely retreat. I found the absence of in-room safety boxes a bit inconvenient, though the ones at reception worked fine. a quiet atmosphere and friendly staff make it a good choice for a peaceful getaway.

I recently spent 14 nights in a Superior Double or Twin Room at the Royal Palace. The room had a great size with a big balcony overlooking the pool, which made for a nice morning coffee spot. Staff were consistently friendly, always greeting me with a smile. The pool area was well-kept, providing a delightful retreat after long days exploring Pattaya. Despite the positives, I faced a few challenges. Room service didn’t seem to be operational. I tried calling multiple times, but nobody picked up. The intercom system in my room was faulty as well, which added to some minor inconveniences. the lightening in the hallways was dim, creating an eerie atmosphere. It’s a decent place if you’re looking for good value, but they could definitely improve on service availability and maintenance.

I stayed in a Superior Double or Twin Room for 5 nights as part of a group. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony, which I loved. But I had issues with the toilet being a bit finicky at times. the staff at the reception felt a bit rude, and I had to deposit 1000 Baht for the minibar, which I found unnecessary.
